These Hours

You came running round, and saved me from myself
And I was nothing else if not the one who fell
And I needed you to save my soul

When I see you, in these hours
The things we do when the whole world is ours
And you reach me like you've known me all along
Would you look where these hours have gone

You, you guided me, when I was out my mind
And I, I didn't see the strength you saw inside
But I see it now, thank god you knew

When I see you, in these hours
The things we do when the whole world is ours
And you reach me like you've known me all along
Would you look where these hours have gone

You, you look at me, and my pain goes up in smoke
And I, the tears I cry, I cried them for us both
When you break me down it's heavenly

When I see you, in these hours
The things we do when the whole world is ours
And you reach me like you've known me all along
Would you look where these hours have gone

These hours with you are more than a panacea
What we do, the things that are builded here
And I'd give you the world on my shoulder
To know that you know, when these hours are over

That you mean the world to me, there's nothing I can do
That makes it right for me, with all I've received from you
And I love you so, though words can't say

When I see you, in these hours
The things we do when the whole world is ours
And you reach me like you've known me all along
Would you look where these hours have gone
